Rumor: Heavenly Sword 2 cancelled

According to internet reports, Sony Computer Entertainment of Europe has canceled Heavenly Sword 2. The game had been in development for a few months but Sony have decided that it is no longer commercially viable.

De ser cierto vaya racha llevan los de SONY cancelando a cascoporro...

Total si casi nadie usa la PS3 para jugar, juegos no necesitan.

pues bien que puede ser cierto el rumor porque desde SCEE les han dicho a kotaku:

"I think it is fair to say that we do not comment on rumour and speculation, especially about games that have never been announced," said SCEE corporate PR manager Nick Caplin.

Vamos que no comentan los rumores no es lo mismo decir que es falso.

La frase a quedarse es "The game had been in development for a few months"... Eso es pasta metida y gente involucrada, por lo tanto, es una cancelación de un proyecto, aunque no se haya anunciado oficialmente...

Bueno, no pasa nada. Inicialmente el proyecto era para la primera XBOX, pues ahora q saquen la secuela para 360. Incluso habia leido q pensaban hacerlo multi, asi q solo tienen q volver a casa, y como extra oculto del 2 siempre pueden meter el Heavenly 1.

Ninja theory responds to Heavenly Sword rumors, new MULTI-platform IP coming

Ninja theory has informally responded to the rumors floating around on the internet regarding Heavenly Sword and their new IP. A staffer commented that they never started work on HS2 as they wanted to focus on a new MULTIPLATFORM IP.


We (Ninja Theory) never started work on HS2 as we wanted to focus on new multiplatform IP. Sony owns the IP for HS and we have never been privy to what they would do with it.

As for moving, we have been planning to move to larger premises for future expansion for the best part of a year. There is nothing bitter about the move.

And the rumour that the team has been disbanded is ridiculous. We have had an unbelievably loyal team especially as we went through some difficult times securing a new publishing deal. We have a new publisher and are busy on our new project which is going very well so far.

HS is far from our thoughts at the moment.
