Ride de Helen Hunt

Esta es la segunda incursión de Helen Hunt en la dirección. Ride. La primera fue en el año 2007 con Cuando Ella Me Encontró ( Then She Found Me ) en 2007. También ha escrito el guión.

En el reparto, junto a Hunt, tenemos a Luke Wilson, Brenton Thwaites, Leonor Varela, David Zayas, Mike White y Richard Kind.

El film cuenta la historia de la madre (Hunt) de un estudiante (Thwaites) de veinte años de la Universidad de Nueva York: cuando el joven se marche a Los Ángeles a pasar el verano su progenitora descubrirá que ha dejado los estudios, por lo que viajará hasta California para pedirle explicaciones.

El rodaje acontece en Los Angeles, California, US, y está previsto su estreno, al menos en USA, para Noviembre del año que viene.

Helen Hunt is doing it all for her upcoming film.

On Monday, photographers snapped photos of the 50-year-old actress, who was hard at work filming the new movie "Ride," which she not only wrote, but is also directing and producing.
In the film, Hunt plays a magazine editor who discovers her son has dropped out of college to become a surfer. Her character follows the boy to California, where she meets a surf instructor, played by Luke Wilson.
Since "Ride" is all about surf and sand, Hunt should be spending the much of the following weeks beachside in swimsuits and wetsuits, as she's taking on the challenge of directing and starring in a film for the second time. (She was also in charge of the 2007 feature "Then She Found Me.")
