Por las características parece idéntico a su equivalente americano. Vamos, que sólo varía el nombre. Todo ello suponiendo que lleve el ABT2010 porque no he visto que esté especificado cual es el chip que lleva exactamente.

Y además será casi 100 euros más barato que el BDP-83 que se puede comprar a través de CRT.

mira que yo soy PRO calibracion, pero por un disco de calibración, ¿pagar 100€? cuando los mejores son gratis y disponibles de AVSforum y los que son "de pago" ninguno vale eso.. (me da que le han quitado el chip...bueno)

¿Alguien sabe si los archivos mkv que reproduce a través de USB los admite en formato NTFS o solo FAT32?

Si es como el americano sólo admite FAT por USB. En disco no hay ese problema.

Además viene completo, como el americano, según explican :
Also included with the BDP-831 are two test discs: the Spears & Munsil BD Calibration and Test Disc, which is absolutely excellent, and also the AIX Records Blu-ray HD sampler & audio calibration disc. In the past, European versions of the Oppo machines have been shipped without additional goodies such as these, so it's fantastic to see the company finally include them here.

Según ese análisis...
Just to make sure that the Anchor Bay VRS chip wasn't accidentally performing any Gamma alteration to the video, I ran the player in both "Source Direct" (VRS bypassed) and "1080p" (VRS on) modes

...por lo que se deduce que el chip sí es ABT pero no sabemos cuál. :)

Por otro lado indica que el desentrelazado PAL en DVD (importante para algunos de nosotros) lo realiza mal mostrando en ocasiones un ligero "flickering", como "técnica del avestruz" propone forzar manualmente el modo de desentrelazado en el menú confiando que en un futuro cercano se solucione por firmware.

El escalado obtiene una nota excelente habiendo diferencias inapreciables en "modo real" con las soluciones de Silicon Optix (HQV).

Particularmente me gustaría que lo analizaran en Secrets pero dado que son yanquis la cosa pinta mal... :sudor

Todavía no tengo claro lo del precio, también decían que se podría comprar a principios de Septiembre y de eso ya hace 1 mes...

De hecho, en CRT Projectors dicen...
We will be stocking the BDP-831, probably by the end of October

Parece que se confirma que no habrá 831 de momento y a lo mejor no lo habrá nunca, al menos es lo que le han dicho los de Oppo a David Mackenzie, probador de AVForums, que tiene un 831 en estos momentos .

Pues es una verdadera lástima que al final no puedan establecerse en el Reino Unido y, peor aún, cancelen la comercialización de la versión europea. Espero que en el futuro consigan encontrar el camino.

Porque realmente es un gran producto

Siempre queda la opción de comprar el americao y multizonearlo,como hemos hecho varios,y por lo que yo sé ,hasta la fecha muy contentos

Yo es que he quedao filpado cuando me entere, ¿alguien sabe los motivos de tal decision? lo anuncian y si no me equivoco ya lo tenian listo puesto que ya lo habian analizado en algunos sitios y de repente lo cancelan... es que no se entiende
