¿Como puedo hacer capturas HD?

Buenas,

La situación es la siguiente: tengo un lector HD DVDRom Toshiba, el Power DVD Ultra y el Win DVD 9. Puedo reproducir HD DVDs originales gracias al AnyDVD que me desencripta el HDCP.

¿Como puedo hacer capturas de una película? Los botones de capturas de ambos programas están desactivados y ni siquiera puedo hacer una captura con "ImprPant" y pegarla en un editor de imágenes, tipo Photoshop.

but it works for VC-1 HDDVD i've come to lay my hands on: V For Vendetta, Terminator 3 - Rise Of The Machines, The Bone Collector, The Bourne Supremacy

[*]first u need a linux based player called MPLAYER (not MPCplayer): download the win32 version here or here
dont download the one from the official website - it gives me some error the one i packed for ya works fine...

[*]then either unpack this into HVDVD_TS folder of the movie u r gonna take screens from or grab e.g. the feature_1.evo to the dir u have unpacked it

[*]open cmd and browse to the dir where u have the mplayer.exe

[*]type in: mplayer -vf screenshot -vc ffvc1 feature_1.evo
note: feature_1.evo is to be changed for the real file name (e.g. PEVOB_2.EVO etc.)

[*]a player window will open and then use following keys:
right/left arrow key: seek for forwards/backwards
up/down arrow key: fast forwards/backwards
space: pause
"S" key: takes a screenshot "shot0001.png" (automatically saved in the same dir as mplayer.exe is)

[*]close the window with usual alt+F4

[*]then u might wanna use some tool (ACDSee, infraview etc.) to recompress the screens coz they're actualy 5.9 MB (same size as bitmap)

Gracias por la info, pero para usar este sistema habría que ripear la peli al disco duro.

La idea es hacer la captura directamente del disco HD DVD.

Sin volcar la película al disco duro no creo que sea posible. Con el Anydvd puedes hacer un volcado al disco duro con la película desprotegida, lo cual te permitirá abrir los ficheros de vídeo con otros programas que si permitan captura aunque no soporten directamente HD DVD ó BD.

Lo curioso es que no te deje capturar ni con Power DVD ni con el Win DVD... podrías probar otro reproductor mas sencillo tipo Bsplayer la última versión 2.27 a ver que tal.

No puede capturar porque es un HD-DVD o un blu-ray y se desactiva como medida de seguridad. El bsplayer no puede reproducir esos formatos.

En efecto.

Lo de ripear la peli al disco duro no es nada cómodo. No es plan de ripear 30 GB cuando quieres sólo una captura puntual.

Yo también lo intenté cuando salió el addon del HDDVD para 360 y nada, no había manera. Una gran putada, por que para hacer comparativas y tal, sería una gozada.
