Con la final de American Idol, la FOX, estrenó el episodio piloto de una de sus nuevas series de la temporada que viene.

Se trata de Glee, la nueva comedia de Ryan Murphy (creador de Nip/Tuck y Popular) es un High School Musical con mala baba, nos muestra la vida de un instituto, vista por un profesor de estos que es un loser total (Mathew Morrison), empeñado en sacar adelante el "club glee" (una especie de grupito musical de instituto), para ello no dudará en usar el chantaje y poner en riesgo su relación de pareja.

El trailer destripa bastante el piloto, así que no lo veáis si os interesa.

De momento el piloto ha tenido buena recepción tanto de crítica como de público, y no me extraña, yo lo volví a ver esta mañana y es divertido, el guión es muy ágil y los actores están francamente bien, con Jane Lynch robando plano como una profesora de gimnasia cabrona, vemos por ahí a Jessalyn Gilsig (Nip/Tuck, Heroes, Friday Night Lights) y Jayma Mays (Ugly Betty) y se ha confirmado la presencia de Kristin Chenoweeth (la Olive de Pushing Daisies) en al menos un capítulo.

Los personajes son muy tópicos, pero desde la dimensión Murphy ganan bastantes, esta el capitán del equipo de futbol, la animadora guapa, la empollona que no es tan fea como parece, unos cuantos nerds, el gay loco por los musicales, etc...

La fecha de estreno es el 17 de Septiembre, pero podéis ir echando un vistazo al piloto.

Me la bajé cuando salió y todavia no lo he visto. Lo tengo pendiente, pero nunca encuentro el momento adecuado.

Pero por otra parte, que grande es Jane Lynch. En Mal ejemplo (role models) es la mejor y lo que hace la muy cerda con los perritos calientes. DIOSA.

Hay canciones de por medio, como Los Simpsons o Padre de Familia, pero no por eso deja de ser una cosa mala.

De momento es comedia con canciones, estas no influyen en la trama, cantan porque son un grupo musical (glee).

The main reason I’m posting this is that we hear a lot, especially from fans of shows that aren’t doing so great in the ratings about how their show is number one on iTunes. I hope Glee’s ratings are great. Its fans will be happy and we won’t have to hear “it’s #1 on iTunes” in new and more ways than normal.

P.S. Yes, I am aware that the lead track (see track list below), the Glee cover of Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’ hit number one on iTunes last May following Glee’s pilot episode.

Performances in the upcoming season premiere include “Gold Digger” (Kanye West), “Push It” (Salt-N-Pepa), “Take a Bow” (Rihanna), “I Say a Little Prayer” (Burt Bacharach), “Le Freak” (Chic) and “All By Myself” (Eric Carmen). After the season premiere debuted at Comic-Con 2009, the Los Angeles Times reported “…the reception was enthusiastic. That was especially true for two musical numbers, covers of Kanye West’s ‘Gold Digger’ and Salt-N-Pepa’s ‘Push It,’ which became a showstopper in the episode.” The Examiner went on to champion another performance from this screening saying Lea Michele “brought the curtain and the house down to deafening applause” with her version of Rihanna’s “Take a Bow.” Select tracks from each episode will be available for purchase on iTunes and other digital retailers on a weekly basis.

The press continues to talk about what an important part the music in GLEE plays in making it such an outstanding show. New York Newsday said “it’s the music that makes ‘GLEE’ a gleeful delight.” From The Police to Usher to Broadway, there’s something for everyone. The Washington Post highlighted the show’s diversity by saying “one of the show’s major pluses is that the music performed isn’t confined to the latest tuneless melodies.” And USA Today went on to thank FOX for introducing “a little song, a little dance and some much needed diversity.”

GLEE follows an optimistic teacher, WILL SCHUESTER (Matthew Morrison), who – against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach – attempts to save McKinley High’s Glee Club from obscurity, while helping a group of aspiring underdogs realize their true star potential. It’s a tall order when the brightest stars of the group include KURT (Chris Colfer), a soprano who hits a high note in fashion; MERCEDES (Amber Riley), a larger-than-life diva with a voice to match; ARTIE (Kevin McHale), a geeky guitarist who rocks and rolls; and TINA (Jenna Ushkowitz), a punk rocker who hides behind her stutter and blue hair extensions.

Una pena que no metan la versión de "Rehab" que salió en el piloto.

Y el "Maybe This Time" parece que lo va a cantar la pequeña gran Kristin Chenoweeth.

Visto por fin el piloto. Sí, ha estado bien, me ha gustado, pero no sé, tampoco me urge verlo cada semana. Quizás vea el 1x02 y lo deje para más adelante.
Esos
personajes de instituto USA: la animadora que sale con el quarterback, sus colegas de equipo, los raritos, los del coro, la chica rarilla, guapa y tímida que nadie se fija y que destaca en algo importante. Las canciones pegadizas, esto es lo que me ha gustado más. Además, que hay momentos en off de varios personajes. La cosa está clara: Rachel y Finn terminan juntos medio temporada o al final. Y, la animadora se va con otro, el lisiado, tal vez :juas
El final del piloto ya deja abiertas varias tramas:
- El profe, Will, y el dilema del club de cante ( Glee ).
- Will y su mujer embarazada.
- Finn y sus problema de combinar el fútbol y el cantar ( caso parecido con High School Musical )
- La rivalidad de la marimacho entrenadora de las animadoras Sue con los demás protas. Qué tia, yo le daba dos leches :mosqueo

Y, bueno, ya se verá...

Pues el segundo está muy bien, hay canciones claro, pero ahora ya se nota que están super-redobladas, y yo sólo conocía una, deben ser muy norteamericanas actuales.

En cuanto a la trama, pues es un poco tópica la verdad, con la integración de los frikis y eso pero la hacen muy divertida.
La Lynch es estupenda, su profesora de gimnsia borde es el mejor personaje de la serie,
ahora se ha unido a las animadoras para acabar con el coro desde dentro
:lol y sus frases son la hostia.

Que pena en el 1x3 ya denotan algo de cansancio, apenas un par de números musicales (estupendo el sólo de Mercedes) y un poco la formula de los otros dos, que si no valemos para nada, que si dejo el coro, que si somos unos inadaptados, pero al final todos juntos podremos lograrlo.

Lo mejor es que sigue siendo fresca, tiene algún buen chiste y sigue teniendo apariciones como Josh Groban o Victor Garber (Alias, Eli Stone).

Lo peor es que se notan un montón los playbacks y le falta mala baba, la poca que tiene se concentra en Jane Lynch intentando putearles.

En el 1x4 ya recurren a los clásicos, el coro prepara "West Side Story", así le dan el primer sólo a Tina ("Tonight") y mientras un grupo de teatro creado con el propósito de hundir el coro, hará "Cabaret".

La Lynch y sus puyas, son cada vez más crueles y legendarias, encima a su personaje le han dado un hueco en las noticias locales, desde donde recomienda a los padres pegar a sus hijos para educarlos bien :lol

Muy bueno el 10, sin Lynch pero con muchas canciones (en realidad trocitos) todas ellas baladas, que expresan como se sienten todos.

En especial el número en que el profesor Schuester combina dos canciones para expresarle sutilmente a Rachel sus sentimientos y consigue el efecto contrario :D

No sé, tú mismo, si te da pereza y tienes otras, yo es que la veo en cuanto puedo me parece muy divertida, me rio mucho y me gustan las canciones.

Mírate los números que he puesto, tampoco es mucho espoiler.

Aunque eso sí, te faltan un par de gran capítulos con la gran Jane Lynch a sus anchas.
