Mark Hamill (“Star Wars”), Lena Headey (“Game of Thrones”), Sarah Michelle Gellar (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”) and Chris Wood (“Supergirl”) are all set to lend their voices to “Revelation,” Kevin Smith’s animated “Masters of the Universe” sequel series.

A direct follow-up to the original “He-Man” series, a ferocious final battle forever fractures Eternia and it’s up to Teela to solve the mystery of the missing Sword of Power in a race against time to prevent the end of the Universe! Her journey will uncover the secrets of Grayskull at last.

In addition, other voice talent includes Smith’s cohort Jason Mewes, Liam Cunningham (“Game of Thrones”), “Dodgeball” duo Justin Long and Stephen Root, Alicia Silverstone (“Clueless”), Tony Todd (“Candyman”), Kevin Conroy (“Batman: The Animated Series”), Phil LaMarr (“Samurai Jack”), Diedrich Bader (“Surf’s Up”), Henry Rollins (“Heat”), Cree Summer (“Rugrats”), Susan Eisenberg (“Justice League”), Griffin Newman (“Our Cartoon President”), Tiffany Smith and original “He-Man” Skeletor actor Alan Oppenheimer will also lend their voices.

Wood will voice Prince Adam/He-Man, with Gellar and Cunningham as Teela and Man-at-Arms respectively. Hamill is Skeletor and Headey is his right-hand woman Evil-Lyn. Oppenheimer is Moss Man this time out.

Mattel Television is attached to produce the series alongside Susan Corbin, while Smith is executive producing alongside Adam Bonnett (“Descendants”), Christopher Keenan (“Batman Beyond”) and Rob David (“He-Man and the Masters of the Universe”) with Powerhouse Animation (“Castlevania”) animating the series.

After 40 years, it’s time to take back the power.
The battle for Eternia continues on Netflix this July 23 with the premiere of Kevin Smith and Mattel Television’s “Masters of the Universe: Revelation,” a brand new animated series that will serve as a direct continuation to the animated series from the 1980s.
Out of Netflix’s “Geeked Week” this afternoon, we’ve got the official teaser trailer for “Masters of the Universe: Revelation,” which takes us back to Castle Grayskull for a reunion with Skeletor, He-Man, and the gang. This action-packed, neon-soaked first look also gives us a first taste of Mark Hamill‘s Skeletor, while previewing the various character designs in the series.
Check out the teaser trailer below, along with a fresh batch of images from the series that give us our first look at Scare Glow, being voiced by horror icon Tony Todd (Candyman)!
