Acabo de ver la primera que no la recordaba, y en general la he disfrutado. Los primeros 60 minutos me han parecido muy buenos, de misterio, justas dosis de acción y un tono muy Indiana Jones. Música espléndida.
La segunda hora con el capitán (un poco cargante el personaje) va claramente peor a mi parecer, porque abusa de las eternas escenas de acción imposibles que si bien son espectaculares y están tiradas con una maestría sublime, me acaban aburriendo por ser demasiadas. Mucho ruido y poco poso. El perfecto equilibrio de la primera hora se rompe, algo parecido a como le sucedió en Indy 4 (incluyendo la aparición de Marion, otro personaje cargante). Personalmente hubiese restado acción, y metido más misterio, descubrimiento y un final con misticismo, para ser un producto redondo (como el Arca o el Grial). Porque el final en el muelle es un poco... bluf.
En definitiva que está bien, pero podría estar mejor viniendo de quien viene. Aún así se agradecen películas de misterio y aventuras, que escasean bastante, aunque no pasen del notable por desgracia.
