En principio no veremos esto aquí ya que Warner nunca ha editado Ciudadano Kane en España, lo cual no significa que alguna editora nacional no le pueda comprar el master a Warner y saque algo chulo aquí como ha pasado con títulos como Metrópolis. En cualquier caso es altamente probable que Warner edite con subtítulos en español, y sabiendo que será region free... :disimulo

Se esta luciendo Warner con sus "Ultimate Collector's Edition". Lo Que El Viento Se Llevo, Mago De Oz, Casablanca (de la que tendremos otra edicion el año que viene), esto...

Creo que los dos principales clásicos de Warner que iban a salir este año como UCE eran Ciudadano Kane y Ben-Hur. No recuerdo si tienen algo más preparado de este estilo a corto plazo.

  • Full-length The Battle Over Citizen Kane documentary on DVD
  • HBO Films' docudrama RKO 281, starring Liev Schreiber as Orson Welles and James Cromwell as newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst on DVD
  • The Magnificent Ambersons on DVD
The only downsides are that The Magnificent Ambersons is the studio-mandated cut of the film (running 88 minutes) and that it will be on DVD only. No word on whether or not it will receive a future Blu-ray upgrade—however, the fact that The Magnificent Ambersons is available on any digital format is cause for celebration.
